Stability
Stable in acid, highly alkaline and oxidized liquors in hot. Stable
to more than 300 gr/It. of caustic soda flake in cold.
Storage Stability
Can be stored for up to 1 year.
Characteristics
ARGONOL SA makes complexes and disperses alkaline earth and heavy metal
ions in highly alkaline solutions.
ARGONOL SA has good dispersing action on foreign substances and impurities
on cellulosic fibres and their blends including in highly contaminated
wash liquors.
It improves absorbancy and rewetting properties at all processing stages.
Stabilizes and regulates oxygen release in oxidized and highly alkaline
desizing liquors.
ARGONOL SA prevents precipitation and slows down crystallization such
as those used in washing and rinsing processes.
Usage Areas
Alkaline boiling and cleaning of cellulosic fibres. Acid cold pad-batch
cracking.
Removing minerals and catalysts in alkaline pretreatments.
Oxidation hot and cold pad-batch desizing.
Continuous boil or pad-steam aftertreatment of goods following cold
pad-batch bleaching with hydrogen peroxide.
