LATEX-A

CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES

LATEX - A is a water - based and self crosslinking, Vinyl - Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion, having 45 (%) solid content.

LATEX - A is generally used for the back coating applications of woven carpets. It is also recommended for textile finishing agent. During the application, the self - crosslinking is actualized in 3 - 4 minutes at a temperature 140?c. It gives clear, bright, hard and durable film when completely dried.

APPLICATION

LATEX - A is successfully used as Carpet back coating and Textile finishing agent. It is diluted by means of water in mixing tank. Then the mixture is transferred in to a finishing trough. Later the diluted emulsion is applied to the back of carpet with roller and passed through a drying tunnel at 130 - 140° c. During the drying, LATEX - A penetrates the back of carpet, produces film which it strengthens the binding of the knots.

STORING

LATEX - A is a water - based and corrosive material, therefore, it should be kept in stainless steel, polyester containers or iron drums, plastic barrels with polyethylene innerlinings. It is sensitive to temperatures below + 5°c and above +35°c. It must be protected from freezing and direct sun light. It can be stored about six month under the recommended conditions.
